Art Events at Cultivate

The Cultivate Education and Exhibitions Team are proud to share a variety of art events and gallery programs throughout the year.

These programs specifically share opportunities for free art making and exploration, invite deeper study into art history, critique, or contemporary art study, or life drawing studies.

Teen Open Studio

It is important to us that teens have a safe and welcoming third space in the community.  That is why we created our teen open studio - a free place to go to meet new friends, make art, explore, and connect to their creative community.

We are excited to provide teens in the community with a space to explore, create, and cultivate their artistic talents. We share a variety of materials, and teens are also invited to bring their work from home or school.

Our studio provides teens with an open and inviting atmosphere for both individual and collaborative art projects.

Every Monday from 6-8pm. No registration needed. Always free.

This free event takes place on the second Tuesday of every month from 6 to 8 PM, making it an ideal after-work activity for those looking to unwind and express their creativity. Free to all.

2. Social Interaction: It's a perfect occasion to meet like-minded individuals, share ideas, and collaborate, making it not just an artistic endeavor but a social one as well.

3. Relaxed Atmosphere: Set in Cultivate's contemporary and inviting space, participants can enjoy a laid-back setting that encourages creativity without the pressure of formal instruction.

4. Materials Provided: All necessary materials for collage-making are provided, though participants are welcome to bring any special items they wish to include in their artwork.

5. Artistic Inspiration: Being surrounded by the dynamic environment of Cultivate, attendees can find inspiration in the gallery's current exhibitions and the creative energy of the space.

6. Mindfulness and Relaxation: Engaging in collage art can be a therapeutic and mindful practice, offering a chance to detach from daily stresses and immerse in the moment.
