What to Expect
At the Collage Club, participants have the opportunity to choose their focus: mastering the techniques of collage to construct visual stories or engaging in zine-making as a dynamic medium for expression and communication. The collage aspect covers a range of methods for layering and assembling materials to create compelling narratives visually. Alternatively, the zine-making introduces the basics of design and layout, empowering members to produce personal or communal zines that convey their thoughts and ideas. Throughout the sessions, there's a strong emphasis on nurturing personal style and encouraging creative exploration, all within a supportive studio environment that promotes artistic growth and community building.
Who Should Attend
Artists seeking to explore or deepen their practice in collage, zines, and mixed media will find value in this collaborative environment. The workshop is designed to support creative growth and exploration! Grab a cup of tea, make some art, and make some new friends in a studio setting!
