Kae Pershon

Administrator/Core Team, Curator, Educator

Graduating in 2016 with a BFA in Visual Studies from Grand Valley State University, Kae has since worked in the art world as a Collections and Exhibitions Technician at her alma mater’s public art museum.

Her work has revolved around several different mediums, but consistently always returns to photography. She focuses on capturing the abstract and sublime, fascinated with the way a combination of mundane objects can become beautiful.

Her current project is an ongoing series that focuses on the impact of ADHD on her lived experiences. The first exhibit, entitled time(less), explored long exposure landscape photography as a means of discussing time blindness. The work was featured in November, 2021 at the Division Avenue Arts Collective (DAAC) in Grand Rapids, MI.
