Position Summary:
Cultivate is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Arts Outreach Intern to join our dynamic team for "The Artist's Way Project," a pioneering initiative that aligns closely with contemporary art's cutting edge. This internship offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities, from logistical support to social media engagement, facilitating community outreach, and assisting in the execution of innovative workshops and public art installations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for contemporary art, strong organizational skills, and a desire to engage with artists and community members.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Workshop and Event Support: Assist in organizing and distributing materials for innovative art workshops and public installations.
2. Volunteer Coordination: Support the coordination of volunteers, including scheduling and day-of-event management.
3. Digital Engagement: Contribute to the project's social media strategy, including content creation and updates.
4. Artist and Speaker Liaison: Provide logistical support to artists, speakers, and performers participating in the project.
5. Community Engagement: Help organize community engagement activities and feedback sessions.
6. Documentation: Assist in documenting project events and participant feedback for impact assessment.
7. Administrative Support: Support project team with administrative tasks, including preparing reports and meeting documentation.
8. Technology Management: Assist with the setup and management of digital platforms and technologies for engagement.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program related to Art, Art History, Arts Administration, or a related field.
- A strong interest in contemporary art, especially experimental and innovative practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital engagement strategies.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events.

The Artist Resource Center Intern will play a pivotal role in Cultivate's efforts to support and elevate artists' careers. This internship is focused on the aggregation, development, and dissemination of resources critical for artist professional development. The intern will be involved in identifying funding opportunities, compiling educational materials, and enhancing the visibility of artists within the community. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about contemporary art, with a commitment to the professional growth of artists.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Resource Compilation: Collect and organize comprehensive resources relevant to artists' professional development, including grants, residencies, call for entries, and educational opportunities.
2. Information Dissemination: Develop strategies for effectively sharing these resources with the artist community through newsletters, social media, and the Cultivate website.
3. Program Development: Assist in designing and implementing programs and workshops that address the needs and challenges of artists, such as portfolio development, digital marketing, and financial planning for artists.
4. Artist Advocacy: Act as a liaison between artists and opportunities by facilitating introductions, recommendations, and providing guidance on application processes.
5. Community Building: Support the creation of networking events, artist talks, and community gatherings that encourage collaboration and sharing among artists.
6. Research and Outreach: Conduct research on best practices in artist support and engage with local and national artist support networks to enhance Cultivate's offerings.
7. Exhibition and Event Support: Offer logistical support for exhibitions and events that provide artists with platforms to showcase their work and interact with the public.

Qualifications:
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in Art, Arts Administration, Art Education, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in contemporary art and artist career development.

- Proficiency in digital tools for communication, research, and social media engagement.
